What to do on a layover
4h layover
Stay airside — there's a Plane Train every 2 minutes between concourses. Visit Concourse E art collection.
8h layover
Take MARTA to Downtown ($2.50, 20 min). Centennial Olympic Park or Coca-Cola/Aquarium are 30-min visits.
12h layover
Add the Civil Rights Museum or visit Stone Mountain (further out — needs car). Plan to be back 3h before flight.
Wifi & connectivity
Free unlimited at 'ATL Free WiFi'. Reliable but slow at peak hours.
Sleep + rest options
Plenty of seats but loud announcements. International Terminal F is quietest overnight. Try Minute Suites (paid, in-terminal).
⚠ Important gotcha
TSA wait times spike 5-7 AM and 4-7 PM — pre-clear if possible.
