How this is built

Every Sunday at 6 AM, our cron job pulls the last 30 days of daily-max temperatures from Open-Meteo's archive for 113 climate-sample cities, averages each to a single number, and compares it to that city's 30-year baseline for whichever calendar month dominates the window. The deltas you see above are pure data.

Single-month windows are noisy — strong signals (≥3°C) flag real anomalies; smaller ones (<1°C) are within typical year-to-year variation. Use this as a trend tracker, not a forecast.
