How this match works

For each candidate city × month in our dataset, we compute the Euclidean distance between its average high, average low, and rain days and Koh Samui's September values. Rain is weighted lower so one wet outlier doesn't override a strong temperature match. We then sort by closeness, keep only the best-matching month per city, and cap any one country at 2 results so the list isn't dominated by a single region.
